Talish

Formerly Aroutch. A grand single-hall domed structure, of the same type as that of P(i)t(i)ghni, but with the dome set on pendentives instead of corner squinches. The loss of the drum and dome accentuates the rather heavy proportions of the whole. In the surrounding area there are ruined remains of an earlier sacred building and of other annexes, of which some notable architectural elements survive.
