Yeghvard - Zoravor

It stands in a completely isolated position, in a perfectly unspoilt natural setting overlooking the plateau. It is a centrally planned octagonal structure, opened up by niches that are semicircular inside and polygonal outside, with a larger apse. Inside, the corners are emphasised by engaged half-columns, following a practice dear to Roman architecture, to which the building clearly seems to refer. The dome has now collapsed together with the south-east portion.
