Cristobalite

Cristobalite crystallises in various ways. It, in fact, it is found both in massive forms or spheroidal aggregates and with very small crystals. Its colour ranges from white to yellowish white, it is hard but very brittle and light.

The most common places of formation are magmatic rocks, thanks also to the high temperatures present in these types of rock.

It can be said that, owing to its scant aesthetic interest, it is used only in collecting.
