Serpotta Giacomo
Judith
Serpotta worked in a peripheral, rather closed milieu, yet his work reveals exceptional stylistic and formal references that can hardly be explained by a strictly local training; even if he could draw on prints and other graphic material for his vast repertory of images, we must presuppose a more complex training than the island's culture could offer.
