Sankt Jakob

The elements of expression in Rusconi's idiom would seem to indicate a wide range of artistic experiments, touching both seventeenth-century sculpture and painting. The luministic goal directly conditions his technique of working the marble: the mark of the rasp and the deliberate absence of polishing correspond to the vibrating surfaces in a rough clay model, or in a painting with vigorous brushwork.
