Drunkenness of Noah

The corner reliefs of the Doges' Palace on the side facing the sea, made famous by Ruskin's beautiful description, testify to a mature development of the Gothic, already imbued with elements that will later be characteristic of early Humanism. It seems likely that the author of this moving Noah was Matteo Raverti of Bergamo.
