Funerary Monument of Cardinal Petroni

Having returned from Pisa to Siena as a result of the struggles between Guelphs and Ghibellines, Tino collaborated with his father, architect, to erect the monument to Cardinal Petroni (1318). Arnolfo's scheme is explicitly adopted in its architectural organic unity, softened only by a typically Sienese taste, for the vividly descriptive detail.
