The work is not without heaviness, in its forced monumentality, which ends up resolving itself into inert gigantism. But the figure of the lord, hermetically enclosed in iron geometric structures, answers to a very precise expressive logic that seems to preserve the echo of a historical moment made of struggles and violence.
