Fazzini Pericle
Bather
Fazzini's post-war production has revealed an almost pantheistic accentuation of that turgid neo-Baroque imaginative vigour which had already fuelled the reaction against the closed academicism of the Novecento; the forms dissolve into an elastic fluidity that has the grand rhythm of waves or, more rarely, of parched dunes, in an upsurge of vitalistic power.
