Lardera Berto
Elan téméraire
By organically coordinating his rigorously schematic forms in a unified space, Lardera arrives at architectonic spatial structures - an open, aerial architecture that excludes the solidity and consistency of volume. "Volume issues from the air and light that penetrate and fill the voids which the planes themselves, by intersecting them, create". Lardera's artistic experiments are at the limits of the potentialities of sculpture as such.
