Lorenzi Stoldo
Amphitrite
Faced with a purely sculptural task, such as the small bronze, Stoldo immediately reveals his limits; but his scenographic skill gives him the chance to redeem his invention from the impression of coldness of the other small bronzes: a slight twist brings the image to life in a flash, within the closed geometry of the niche.
