Charity

Tino di Camaino's interest in the work of Arnolfo di Cambio was not limited exclusively to structure. In fact, many stylistic components of the Sienese Tino's sculpture must have been strongly stimulated by the example of Arnolfo: the robust composition, the compact plastic masses, the juxtaposition of wide, extended planes with light passages of shadow, the calm, absorbed sense of monumentality.
