The tension of a difficult balance between the faint vibration of light in the modelling, which always defines the colouristic tone of all Manzù's work, and the need for an autonomous plastic construction, bends the chromatism to an exceptionally intensive duration, to an iterative consistency that through counterpoint recaptures the symphonic breadth of Romantic poetics.
